With a man its a macho/ego thanggg but I tell you straight that when it comes to getting medical advice it really is of no consequence whether the Doctor is a female. heck, I've nursed so many men and cleaned up or seen their dangly bits that the sight means nothing to me, neither do I consider men to be wimps.

All very well being macho and proud and playing Russian Roulette with your lives BUT by the time if anything is wrong and it is diagnosed then iots often too late to receive life saving treatment.

I found this out the hard way with my macho Father who I tried to resuscitate until told to stop as although I could get him breathing could not get his heart started....8 days before my 21st Birthday. The auspicious date in my life when I received bereavement cards in place of 21st ones.....and all for the fact that he refused to go to the Doctor because he (quote) was a man and not a wimp.Devonshire Dumplinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407865033197615356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3261734209263497063.post-19515033157652411142009-06-15T22:28:58.948+01:002009-06-15T22:28:58.948+01:00I think perhaps another aspect is that men don'...I think perhaps another aspect is that men don't want to think are weak?
