Our Money

OUR MONEY

I was watching the news this morning, and guess what was the main subject? Yes the economy, it appears that Gordon Brown wants the rest of the world to follow his “innovative” plan to bail out the banks by spending hundreds of millions of public money in a risky move to obtain a stake in the banks.

Isn’t it Gordon’s fault that we are in this position in the first place? Wasn’t he chancellor up until a while ago? Didn’t he let the bankers do what they wanted in order to make vast sums of money for themselves, with no regulation? Shouldn't he have seen this coming?

And now he sees himself as the saviour of the world.

Doesn’t the phrase-Pot-Kettle come to mind?

Gordon, you cocked-up admit it. Let nature take it’s course, use the money to cover peoples savings and small businesses, use the money to help people who are losing their homes, use the money to help people who cannot afford to “eat and heat” but don’t use the money to rescue the rich, greedy, invisible bankers who caused the problem in the first place.
